Stockholm Engagement Photography – Alexis and Magnus

destination Engagement Travel

Wow, I’m a bit embarrassed. I have probably sat down to start a blog, a dozen time since my last post. Even now as I write this, I’m wondering if it will actually make it to being published and killing my 3 months of silence in this space. I’ll try to rationalize it in another post, this one is meant for much greater things.

The last stop on our European road-trip was Sweden. I am in love with Sweden. Such a beautiful and amazing place, and I’m lucky enough to have a cousin who lives in Stockholm with her fiancé. Let me just say, exploring a new city while doing an engagement session, has to be one of the best ways to see it. (Remember this London Engagement?) I feel like it opens my eyes to little spots that I wouldn’t typically notice. We had such a fun time with these two, and I’m already trying to figure out how we can get back there.

Back where it all started…
There is something inspiring about this place- Xi Hu. Especially on a day like today, when it's a bit overcast, but the skies are clear of smog because of last night's downpour. The lake really lights up and shines it's magical side. This is what I think of when I think of China. I've come back here after a summer of working to relax and meet up with some friends. But I was captivated today by the lake and am feeling a new energy to photograph it and other lovely things in Hangzhou. So this is where I spent a year of my life. I never thought I'd be happy to be back here, but I have to say, it feels like coming home a bit. I'v ...

Southampton Engagement Photography :: A Proposal
Happy Friday! One week from today and I will be on my way to Europe for 4 months. Today is also the last shoot I'm doing before leaving. It happens to be my favorite kind too. Can you guess? Definitely ending things on a high note. This is a proposal I shot a few weeks back for a friend of mine. Proposal turned mini e-sesh. It was a complete surprise and I was posing like I was just taking a photo of the sunset. Very fun to be a part of. Here is Andrew and Hannah ::

Finally! The Holidays!
Whew! So my lack of updating is due to our move to Sunny FL! Well....actually we arrived in FL in the midst of a cold snap, and it's actually been colder here than Seattle (not even joking like 29 degrees). So I've been seriously busy trying to organize furniture for a house so we can stop looking like we're just squatting here with our mattress on the floor. More on Florida later, all I'll say is that we're here, we love the house we're renting and there's lots to share but that's for another post on a different night, including some news on going back to school. How bout those holidays? 5 countries in 3 weeks! We started our trip from ...
