Southampton Portrait Photographer :: The Vernons

family portraits

I am 100% positive that, no matter how old you are, your parents will love a photo of you more than anything in the world. And, if you manage to get your siblings in it as well, then you might as well have solved world hunger in their book. At least I’m pretty sure.

Here we have a photographic family, who I was honored, thrilled, and slightly intimidated when I was asked to do their photos for them. Here’s Andrew, Kelly and Kyle ::

Hey guys, I’m trying to take a photo, can you just look at me for a second?

Starting Again
With a fresh look, and a new life! Well, not so much a new life, but a lot is changing at the moment. Firstly, we are no longer living in China. We found out in February that we are expecting a little babe in late October, so we made some plans to get ourselves a bit more settled. Happy Holidays
I'm not going to lie, Christmas has kind of taken a back seat this year to other things that are going on. But I still love this time of year and knowing that there is going to be a respite, from work and other things, to spend with family and friends. I like taking part in our local community's holiday activities that bring people together and I love finding little treasures for people to open on Christmas day. Favorite gift I found this year were these little stamp sets for my niece and Eliot's god-daughter.I also really love when I get to reconnect with people who's photos I've taken in the past. One of the biggest compliments is getti ...
