I really do have the most amazing couples who find me. Everything about Sarah and Max's day was beautiful, from the simplicity in the details, down to the people who were a part of it. They were surrounded by so much love and you could tell they felt it. The way Sarah looked when I showed up, I could see she was relaxed and ready to let the day take its course. We all have bad days. I try not to share the bad on this blog, and sometimes I struggle with that,writing things down helps me to work through it, and this has been my spot to do that. So sometimes I overcompensate and share all the highlights, and it seems like things are great all the time.

Southampton Engagement Photography :: Mike and Sue
So a while back I was taking a Portrait Photography class and was in desperate need for some models to pose for me. It was a very "traditional portrait" studio class (nothing like what I ever wanted to do or do now, but nevertheless a good learning experience). Mike and Sue graciously agreed to help me out and sit for me while I took awkward, overly posed photos of them ("yes, it's very important you tilt your head exactly that way, otherwise I might fail" kind of stuff). As you can imagine, those photos never and will never surface on the web. It's to protect all three of us, I promise.
