Adventure Wedding in the Austrian Alps
If you need your photographer to snowboard down a mountain with you while you're in all your wedding gear, I'm your girl. This wedding was so much fun. I'm calling it an adventure wedding because a) How many weddings do you get to go to that start in a small Austrian hall (at 10am), then b) transport all the guests to the top of a mountain for lunch and a party, and c) only to all ski/snowboard down for dinner and the after party. It was organised to perfection. It was an adventure wedding.

Wedding at the Walled Garden at Cowdray
I met Meg and Matt at a pub, about a year before their wedding at the Walled Garden at Cowdray. We chatted over a pint and they were so easy going. During our meeting we ended up talking and discussing about 100 other things apart from their wedding. Following our initial meetup, a couple months later, I shot their engagement session here in the forest. During their shoot, I asked them how they felt about jumping a fence and venturing into a field to get potentially a great shot, and they didn't even hesitate.

Being able to use my camera and photograph new places and spaces is one of the biggest joys in this profession. Every time I visit a new place, I find these subtle little beauties, and I wish I had my camera on hand. I normally settle for an iPhone shot and post it up on Instagram with a chic filter and call it good. But when I get to travel for a wedding, camera in hand, it’s one of the most rewarding times in my job. This Stockholm wedding is no different.
