Something I never really considered all that much before I got married was, the family I'd be becoming a part of. But I have to say, as far as in laws go I couldn't have hand chosen better ones. Emily is Eliot's cousin and one of the sweetest people you'd ever meet. Her and John came to our wedding so many of my friends and family now know who she is. Whenever I would tell someone I was going to England to photograph her wedding, I would in some form or another get, "Oh sweet Emily?" So Em, just so you know, you were a hit.

You know when you see someone you haven't seen in ages, the conversation just flows and you feel like you'll never get caught up on everything that's happened since the last time you spoke? That's what happened with this girl, because I haven't seen her since.....*yikes* high school? We were next door neighbors growing up, and were always at one another house. Southampton Engagement Photography :: Kevin and Jess
This couple strikes a personal cord, because well, Kevin and Jess are good friends. I've known Kevin as long as I've known Eliot, and he even came all the way out to Oregon for our wedding. Jess is his beautiful fiance, and they met while working together on super yachts (yes the big ones, and no, not cruise ships). I was giddy when they called and asked me to do their engagement photos. It's exciting to have a little part in someones wedding experience, especially when they're good friends.
