Southampton Boudoir Photography :: Miss V
Some of my best work is sealed under lock and key for only a select few eyes. Most of my clients don't want anything shared, and that's perfectly fine. Every photo I put up here has been individually ok'd to be posted. Boudoir is as much about a feeling as it is in the visuals. If she doesn't feel like one photo is showing her in t ...

A Fun Athletic Shoot + A Very Special Feature
This little shoot took place on a blustery, cold Florida day back in December. I know, late right? This is one of my awesome friends and neighbour who started her business as a personal trainer. It seemed only appropriate to take some photos in our neighbourhood. We froze our asses off, but it doesn't get much better than this ligh ...

Round the County 2012
When I was 18, I was quite active in my hometown sailing community. I'd been involved in sailing since I was 9, and at this time I taught sailing to kids in my local club and in the summertime was out racing 3 nights a week. Shortly after I graduated from high school a friend of mine gave my name to a couple in Seattle who were l ...

"Things change. And friends leave. Life doesn't stop for anybody." -Stephen Chbosky
I'm doing it again. I'm writing a sentimental blog about leaving a place I've come to know as 'home.' My collection of "homes" is becoming more extensive, and not in the billionaire sort of way. More in the homesick sort of way. P ...

Into the Instant Film World
This is the newest addition to my film camera collection, a Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera. If I could describe it one word? TEMPERAMENTAL. Everything about this is completely unpredictable, and sometimes painful to experience (as in watching money burn painful). Being a product of the 70s, not everything works perfectly all the ti ...

Southampton Portrait Photographer :: The Vernons
I am 100% positive that, no matter how old you are, your parents will love a photo of you more than anything in the world. And, if you manage to get your siblings in it as well, then you might as well have solved world hunger in their book. At least I'm pretty sure.
Here we have a photographic family, who I was honored, thrilled ...

The Best of 2012
A whole long list of cliché adjectives that span the emotional spectrum. I'll spare you. If you follow this blog, you probably get the gist.
2012 was a learning year for me in terms of my business. One of the most important things being, to stay true to myself and my style, no matter what. It ge ...

A year ago today we were nestled in a little climbing lodge, at the foot of Mt. Hood, with 60 of our beautiful friends and family. We danced the night, went sledding at midnight underneath a full moon and sipped warm drinks next to a fire. I don't remember a time in my life having ever been happier.
Happy anniversary darling. ...
