Maui Engagement Session :: Aaron and Maria

couples Engagement family personal portraits

Christmas 2013 we were lucky enough to spend it in Maui with my family again this year. It turned into being the year of Hawaiian engagements, as we celebrated one of my cousins getting engaged this past summer, and two more got engaged before we left the islands. There was a lot of celebrating. My cousin Aaron is one of the funniest guys you’ve ever met, and his fiance Maria is the sweetest of all ::

How cute is this little girl?  Her and her sister are coming up soon! See full post here

It was a very "traditional portrait" studio class (nothing like what I ever wanted to do or do now, but nevertheless a good learning experience). Mike and Sue graciously agreed to help me out and sit for me while I took awkward, overly posed photos of them ("yes, it's very important you tilt your head exactly that way, otherwise I might fail" kind of stuff). As you can imagine, those photos never and will never surface on the web. It's to protect all three of us, I promise. But I was really happy when got engaged and asked me ...
