Southampton Engagement Photography :: A Stockholm Engagement

couples Engagement family personal portraits Travel

Wow, I’m a bit embarrassed. I have probably sat down to start a blog, a dozen time since my last post. Even now as I write this, I’m wondering if it will actually make it to being published and killing my 3 months of silence in this space. I’ll try to rationalize it in another post, this one is meant for much greater things.

The last stop on our European road-trip was Sweden. I am in love with Sweden. Such a beautiful and amazing place, and I’m lucky enough to have a cousin who lives in Stockholm with her fiancé. Let me just say, exploring a new city while doing an engagement session, has to be one of the best ways to see it. (Remember this London Engagement?) I feel like it opens my eyes to little spots that I wouldn’t typically notice. We had such a fun time with these two, and I’m already trying to figure out how we can get back there.

Here is Alexis and Magnus ::

So much sweetness. Thanks for having us guys. xx

I was up late last night, tossing and turning.  I could not get to sleep because I was thinking of all the things that need to happen in the next month.  These thoughts shuffling around in my head were making it clear they weren't going to let me sl ...

My husband is out of town. He's only been gone for 3 days now, and I miss him terribly, but I also have this feeling, like my parents went out of town and left me in charge. I know, sounds funny right? But the thing is, Eliot is so much better at things than I am. So I typically leave little projects and such to him. It's kind of like when your mom asks you to do the dishes over your brother, and you say, "why do I always have to do them?" and she responds, "because you're so much better at it," like it's supposed to make you feel good. Well that's how I feel about Eliot, it's not that I'm not capable, but he's just better at doing things. (H ...
