Sheesh! I ODed on wedding planning this past week.  Like right now, I don't even want to think about my wedding for the next month. This is probably why people hire wedding planners (silly us). But we are planning ours from afar, so given the opportunity and 10 days in the NorthWest, it's probably best that I made use of the time I had there to really tackle a huge part of the planning. I’m In Love
I'm giddy. I hate the suspense of surprises. I always tell people that if you want to surprise me with something, don't tell me you're going to surprise me with something because it kills me. You can imagine the state I've been in this last week, knowing I dropped film off at the lab and would have to wait to see it. Luckily, I got to go on a trip and *try* to forget about it. This is straight out of the camera. And by camera, I mean my bright sunshiny yellow Holga. I'm in love. Lots more to come.
Wedding Preview
Here's a little peek of what I've been working on/getting lost in.  I love taking the photos, but I also really love the editing process.  The time alone with my work, polishing something and really making it shine before showing it to anyone.  Taking pride in it and not just throwing everything out there, but only the best.  It's a completely different part to the creative process.  It's not just grunt work that has to be done, but it's like reliving that moment that the shot was taken and making sure that moment lives up to its potential.  And that is just it, not changing a photo to make it into something it never was, but just a little tw ...
