Preview :: Little Darlings

babies/kids portraits

Today is the start of my productive week.  I had an awesome weekend hanging out with friends, boating, islanding (don’t think that’s word, but it should be one in FL) and trying to take my mind off being away from a certain someone for the next 3 weekends to come.  I’m lucky to have some really great friends to help with that.  They definitely are the reason it’s so awesome being in Florida.

How cute is this little girl?  Her and her sister are coming up soon!

I was absent here last week. All for good reasons though. I was getting ready to have a bachelorette weekend with three of my bridesmaids. Two of my best friends came from far away to celebrate (Texas and Utah). One of these girls, we figured out, I hadn't seen in over 4 years. Which makes sense, she'd never met Eliot and he and I are getting ready to celebrate 5 years together. It was an amazing weekend full of sangria, dancing, dress shopping, boating and swimming in the ocean. You understand why I was absent right? This is a shoot I did a few weeks ago. This girl is not new to this blog, I've photographed her before, and you can see tha ...

Funnest. Couple. Ever. Loved being a part of Brittany and Brian's day.  When I first met these two our conversation mainly consisted of all the great breweries up in the NorthWest. They spent a year living up in Portland after graduating from university.  Brittany is so laid back, when I arrived at her Maid of Honor's house to start capturing them getting ready, her bridesmaids were giving her a hard time for painting her own nails.  Her biggest worry throughout the whole day was that when we went outside to take some shots of just the two of them, she was going to miss the DJ playing The Twist. Brian is equally carefree and easily distrac ...

I am 100% positive that, no matter how old you are, your parents will love a photo of you more than anything in the world. And, if you manage to get your siblings in it as well, then you might as well have solved world hunger in their book. At least I'm pretty sure. Here we have a photographic family, who I was honored, thrilled, and slightly intimidated when I was asked to do their photos for them. Here's Andrew, Kelly and Kyle :: Hey guys, I'm trying to take a photo, can you just look at me for a second?
