Wow, I'm a bit embarrassed. I have probably sat down to start a blog, a dozen time since my last post. Even now as I write this, I'm wondering if it will actually make it to being published and killing my 3 months of silence in this space. Back where it all started…
There is something inspiring about this place- Xi Hu. Especially on a day like today, when it's a bit overcast, but the skies are clear of smog because of last night's downpour. The lake really lights up and shines it's magical side. This is what I think of when I think of China. I've come back here after a summer of working to relax and meet up with some friends. But I was captivated today by the lake and am feeling a new energy to photograph it and other lovely things in Hangzhou. So this is where I spent a year of my life. Southampton Engagement Photography :: Kerry & Jonas
I met Kerry the first night I arrived in China, after a long Chinese dinner and a ride on the back of a motorbike, through the busy streets of Fuyang, with a South African guy I had met just a few hours previously. (In case you think that's not the best decision I've ever made, I can promise you that it's not the worst.) She's been an easy person to keep up with, because every once in a while, we find ourselves in the same corner of the world again.
